The list of the candidates who have been provisionally selected for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Program of KLE University in various disciplines of Health Sciences for the year 2008-09 is given vide Annexure-I to this Notification:
1. Terms and conditions to be complied with by the Research Scholars:
- To strictly adhere to the Rules and Regulations of Ph.D. Program of the University.
- To adhere to all terms and conditions which will be stipulated from time to time.
- To make payment of the prescribed fee as per the norms of the University within the stipulated period (on or before 29th July 2008) as detailed below failing which the admission will be cancelled. The draft should be drawn in favour of “ Registrar KLE University’’ Payable at “ Belgaum”
- To bear all expenses by themselves towards conduct of the study for research work. Only the available physical infrastructure and library facility of the University can be used for the research work.
- Not to register for any other academic program of Indian / Foreign University during the period of Ph.D. program. (An undertaking has to be given as per Annexure-II).
- To attend all the seminars and orientation programs to be conducted by the University/Departments. A log book needs to be maintained by all the Research Scholars.
2. The minimum period of Ph.D. Program for full time/part-time candidates holding PG Degree is 2/3 years respectively. The candidates with M.Sc. (one year) and PG Diploma are required to put in a minimum period of 5 years.
3. All the internal candidates (those working in KLES Institutions) are required to give an undertaking (as per Annexure-III) that they will serve the KLE Institution at least for a minimum period of 2 years after the completion of their Ph.D.
4. All the candidates have to give an undertaking (as per Annexure-IV) to the effect that the title / topic of research project selected is not copied from any of the other candidates pursuing Post-Graduate studies / Ph.D Program
The letters of intimation about provisional selection have already been sent by the University to the Research Scholars ‘under certificate of posting’ separately.
