2. Preamble:
The M.Sc. Perfusion Technology courses aim’s at training students in perfusion technological aspects with a good scientific foundation. These students will be in a position to competently assist the Anaesthetists & Surgeons, especially in high-tech Anaesthesia & Surgical theaters. They will be in much demand both within the country and outside as Perfusion Technologists. With advanced training in the latest technologies in Perfusion technology, these post graduates, will play an important role in determining the quality of health care provided and also to teach and train undergraduates in this field.
3. Duration: Two years (one year for lateral entry)
4. Eligibility: a. Direct Entry : (i) Graduates with 3 years degree with Biology/life sciences as one of the subjects ( minimum of 50% marks). (ii) B.Tech/BE ( Biotechnology /Biomedical/Medical electronics) (iii) B.Pharm (iv) B.Sc. ( Perfusion, Cardiac care, OT/Anaesthsia Technology) (v) BAMS (vi) BHMS
b. Lateral Entry : (i) Science graduates with 10 years experience in Perfusion/Echocardiography Technology in a recognized hospital
5. Total Intake: 5 students per year.

7. Last date to receive (by post) down-loaded and completed application form by the University along-with Demand Draft (drawn on any nationalized Bank) for Rs-500/- favouring Registrar, KLE University, payable at Belgaum is 26th July 2008 at 5.00 PM.
8. Selection/Admissions will be based on test/interviews conducted by the KLE University, Belgaum.
9. Date for Entrance Test/ Interviews is on 30th July 2008.
10. Date of commencement of the course: 1st August 2008.
