Based on the administrative approval accorded by the Board of Management of the University and keeping in view the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the KLE University intends to introduce Career Advance Scheme-2009 (CAS-2009) to consider promotion of faculty members working in various Departments of the constituent units of the University under the aforesaid Scheme subject to the terms and conditions indicated in the Annexure-I enclosed.

The teachers working in the KLE University who are eligible to avail the provisions of the Career Advancement Scheme-2009 (CAS-2009) for promotion to the next cadre are requested to submit applications along-with their bio-data particulars through proper channel in the enclosed proforma (Annexure-II) along-with copies of all  documents, in support of their qualification, experience, publication, professional distinctions, conferences (state/national/international) attended, scientific sessions chaired, etc. so as to reach the University on or before  26th August 2009. Those of the faculty members who fulfil the eligibility criteria as on 31st August 2009 only are eligible and need to apply. Please note that incomplete application will not be considered.
